Pennants 2021 Season Over

Unfortunately the Pennants team finally met their match in the grand final of the 2021 Pennants last Saturday @ Warilla versus Corrimal. So congratulations are in order for Corrimal winning the Zone 16-Grade 6 Pennant this year.

Commiserations to our Jamberoo bowlers who put in a great showing all season to make it to the final, while you stumbled at that last hurdle, I think it is an amazing job for a Club the size of ours to go up against the big dogs and almost pull off a David Vs Goliath type victory. There is always next year and you have to get to the grand final to lose the grand final, and I reckon getting there is a fairly herculean feat, so well done!

So as we do look forward to next year, we want to expand our bowls and give ourselves the best possible chance to bring home a pennant, so if you want to bowl, whether you are a complete novice or an old pro, if you haven’t joined the Club as a bowler…well, what are you waiting for? It’s an awesome way to spend a day, with good company and a supportive environment. Head on down, join the Club as a bowling member and help build our bowls up for next year!
